Aymi Privacy Policy

Everything about your baby stays on your phone. Aymi has no accounts, shows no ads, and does not track you. The only data that leaves the device is the technical purchase data needed to provide and validate subscriptions, processed by Apple and RevenueCat.

Effective date: October 19, 2026 · iOS app version 1.0

Data controller and contact

This policy describes version 1.0 of the Aymi app for iOS (bundle identifier com.nifapp.BebekTakip). Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), the data controller is the app's developer, Metehan Ünal.

E-mail address for privacy questions and KVKK requests: iletisim@aymibebek.com

The data you enter into the app

Everything you enter into Aymi is stored only in the app's database on your own device. Aymi has no accounts, asks for no sign-in, and sends none of this data to any server. We, the developer, cannot see or collect it.

The app keeps the following data on your device:

  • Baby profile: name, birth date, gender, and reminder preference.
  • Sleep records: start and end time; nap or night sleep.
  • Feeding records: nursing, bottle, or solids; times, nursing duration and side, bottle amount and content.
  • Diaper records: time and type.
  • Growth records: measurement date, weight, height, head circumference, and an optional short note. Whatever you write in the note also stays on your device.
  • Routine settings: wake and bedtime hours, nap count, feeding and diaper intervals, reminder preferences.
  • App preferences: the selected baby, unit system, whether the tour was seen, the statistics view, and the activity idea schedule. These contain no baby records.

Where the data lives on your device

The records are kept in a single database file inside the protected app group space that the app shares with the Aymi widget. The Home Screen widget, the Live Activities on the Lock Screen, and the reminder notifications show your baby's name and the running sleep, nursing, or routine information from these records; the Lock Screen activity idea shows ideas that fit your baby's age, calculated from the stored birth date. This happens on your device; the iOS privacy settings for the Lock Screen and notifications apply to this content too.

The database is stored with the standard iOS data protection; the app applies no additional encryption. The file is included in your device backups.

Technical data processed for subscriptions

The Aymi Plus subscription is purchased through the App Store, and Apple processes the payment. To display subscription products, validate purchases, determine Plus access, and restore purchases, the app uses the software kit of a service called RevenueCat. The kit contacts RevenueCat's servers every time the app starts, even if you never purchase anything.

The following data is sent to RevenueCat: an anonymous app user identifier generated at random by the kit; Apple's signed purchase transaction data (the receipt), transaction history, and subscription status; and, with each request, standard technical information: the device vendor identifier (IDFV), device model, iOS version, app version and bundle identifier, preferred languages, and the App Store country.

This data contains no name, e-mail address, or baby records, and it is not linked to your identity. It is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. RevenueCat processes this data on our behalf as a data processor under contractual data-protection obligations, and states that it may process the data on Amazon Web Services infrastructure in the United States. Apple acts independently under its own privacy policy for payments and App Store operations.

This processing and the transfer abroad take place to the extent necessary to conclude and perform the subscription contract (KVKK Articles 5 and 9).

The 14-day full-access record

To keep track of the first 14 days of full access, two timestamps are kept in your device's secure storage (Keychain): the start of the period and the latest time the app has seen. The start is derived from the creation time of the first baby profile. These records contain no name, no record content, and no other personal data; they never leave your device and are not moved to another device. They remain when the app is deleted, so that the 14-day period cannot be restarted by deleting and reinstalling the app.

Notifications

Sleep-time and routine reminders are local notifications scheduled entirely on the device; there is no push (server-sent) notification infrastructure. The only permission the app asks for is the notification permission (alerts and sounds). Notification texts may include your baby's name. You can turn the permission off in iPhone Settings at any time.

Export and sharing

You can export your records as CSV files and, with Plus, create a doctor report (PDF) and a routine card (PNG). The CSV package contains the baby profile (name, birth date, gender) and all records. The doctor report contains your baby's name, birth date, growth data, and daily summaries. The routine card contains your baby's name.

These files are created only when you ask, and the iOS share sheet lets you alone decide who receives them. File names contain only the app name and the date. The files are kept in the app's temporary folder and are removed when the share sheet closes or before the next export. The app never shares anything on its own.

Deletion

You can delete all baby records inside the app: Profile → Data → Delete All Data, followed by a confirmation step. This deletes every baby profile and its records, resets the app preferences, and cancels scheduled reminders. Deleting one baby profile also deletes all records of that baby.

After deletion, only technical markers without personal data remain on the device: the 14-day access record, the subscription status summary, the database version markers, and the subscription kit's own cache (including the anonymous app user identifier). Removing the app from your device deletes the app's data, including that cache; only the 14-day access record in the Keychain remains. When you reinstall the app, the subscription kit generates a new anonymous identifier.

Backups

Your device's own iCloud or computer backup includes Aymi's data along with your other app data. Those backups belong to your Apple account; we have no access to them. The 14-day access record is not restored from backups to another device.

Retention

Baby records on your device remain until you delete them or remove the app. Apple and RevenueCat retain subscription transaction information under their own retention policies and legal obligations. RevenueCat states that it retains data processed on our behalf only as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce its agreements.

Advertising, tracking, and analytics

Aymi shows no ads, uses no advertising identifier, and performs no cross-app tracking. It contains no third-party analytics or crash-reporting kit. Apple's own crash and usage reporting works only if you turned on sharing with Apple in iOS settings, and under Apple's rules. The app's App Store privacy label reports only purchase history, not linked to your identity.

Children's data

Aymi is made for parents and caregivers; you enter the records about your baby. The app collects no data from children. The records you enter about your baby stay on your device; they never reach us or third parties.

Your rights under KVKK

Under Article 11 of KVKK, you can apply to the data controller to:

Because your baby records exist only on your device, you access, correct, export, and delete them yourself, directly in the app. Requests mostly concern the subscription data processed through RevenueCat.

  • Learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, request information about it.
  • Learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose.
  • Know the third parties to whom the data is transferred, in Türkiye or abroad.
  • Request correction if the data is incomplete or inaccurate.
  • Request deletion or destruction under the conditions set out in KVKK, and request that these actions are notified to the third parties who received the data.
  • Object to a result against you that arises from analysis by exclusively automated systems.
  • Request compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

How to apply

You can send your request by e-mail to iletisim@aymibebek.com. The request must state your name, the subject of your request, and an address where we can reply to you. Requests are answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest.

Where we can match the anonymous subscription record using transaction or order information, we pass your request on to RevenueCat. Deleting a RevenueCat record does not cancel your Apple subscription; you manage the subscription separately in your App Store subscription settings.

aymibebek.com uses no cookies, runs no analytics tool, and has no forms. When you tap the App Store link on the site, you move to Apple's page, where Apple's privacy policy applies.

Changes

If this policy changes, the current version is published on this page with an updated effective date. A feature that sends data off the device, for example an AI assistant that may be offered later, is enabled only after your explicit consent inside the app and an update of this policy.
